THIS IS NOT A DRILL: chances are good that Selena Gomez will be releasing new music sometime in the very near future.
Selena posted a teaser to her Instagram of what we can only assume is part of an upcoming single - but you might have missed it since it only appeared on her story. The 10 second snippet is an edgy black and white video of half of her face with an X over her mouth, and the song can be heard playing in the background. Luckily, a fan account reposted the video so the clip of the new song can live on in all its catchy glory.
The lyrics of the fun, upbeat tune are, "I had a dream, we were back to 17, summer nights, never growing up." Basically, they're so Selena. The song is also looking like it may be a collab with Norwegian DJ Kygo, since she posted a black and white photo with a similar aesthetic to Instagram around the same time and slyly tagged him. (We see you!)
We were a little nervous about getting more music from Selena considering how busy she's been lately with her new show 13 Reasons Why and her rumored relationship with The Weeknd - but luckily, it looks like she's still making time to bring us some new music very soon.
