Fresh off her internship for a Girls writer, Malia Obama is already onto the next one. The 18-year-old just started her internship at the Weinstein Company and she already nailed the first day look.
Since working at a film studio calls for a creative-yet-casual outfit, Malia kept things simple and chic in a black crop top - which she successfully pulled off for work by pairing it with super high-waisted mom jeans to keep the look covered up. She topped it off with an Alexander Wang shearling jacket - the perfect way to manage to make a crop top work for the middle of February in New York City.
While you can't get away with a crop top and jeans in every industry (ahem, aspiring lawyers), interns in casual, denim friendly offices should totally take note here - it's the ideal throw-on-and-go outfit, and her flat boots or sneakers were a smart idea considering the amount of time interns usually end up spending on our feet.
It's looking like Malia will be spending tons of time in New York City until starting at Harvard next fall, and we're hoping that means she'll continue to serve up solid internship outfit ideas.
