How to Throw the Best Halloween Party This Year

$

0

You may have stopped going trick-or-treating when you started middle school, but in college, Halloween is exciting again! Sure, there are theme parties on campus every weekend of the year, but nothing beats an awesome Halloween party. If you're thinking about throwing a soirée of your own but aren't sure how to start planning,

Choose a specific theme

Get creative

Think about the kind of Halloween you and your roommates want to have. Do you want everyone to come dressed as a Disney character or a superhero? Would you prefer something traditionally scary, like having everyone in zombie or vampire costumes? Think about what kind of party you want it to be, and that will help you figure out your theme! If your friends are into more nontraditional Halloween costumes, suggest a theme that will let them show their creative sides. Throw a Lady Gaga-themed Monster Ball with everyone wearing their favorite Gaga outfit, or have everyone dress up as characters from a popular TV show or movie. You can still use Halloween decorations and music, but if everyone’s sticking to a common theme, the party will be more cohesive and way more fun!

Or go traditional

If you and your roommates just want to let your guests have total creative freedom, don't assign a costume-based theme—just pick decorations and music that set the mood and really make you excited to celebrate Halloween!

Use decorations to set the mood

No party is complete without decorations, so stock up on fun Halloween supplies.

Don’t forget the basics

Orange and black plates, cups, napkins and cutlery are must-buys, as are some festive tablecloths and streamers.

Add a few extras

Party favors like eyeball erasers and tiny pumpkins make great table decorations. Spider web decorations and skeleton light strings (you can find these and similar pieces at most party supply stores) will take your party to a new level of fun.

It’s not Halloween without plenty of pumpkins

If you don’t know how to or don’t have the time to carve a pumpkin, use acrylic paints to make faces on a few pumpkins to set out around the house (you can buy pumpkins at most grocery stores in the fall).

Use some decorations outside, too

If you’re in a dorm or apartment, this can be a little tricky since you don’t want uninvited guests crashing your party, but even just a few cutout bats, spiders or tombstones will do the trick to get your guests in a party mood before they walk through the front door.

Go for classic activities with fun twists

Host a costume contest, but up the stakes

Have an incentive such as a gift card to your favorite local restaurant as prize—if there’s something to win, people will be more likely to go all out with their costumes. If a gift card seems excessive, a bag of candy will do the trick, too.

Bob for apples… or something else!

If bobbing for apples feels a bit stale, invent a new game, like eating gummy worms or gummy spiders (or any other Halloween candy) without your hands. It will be fun to watch and bring your party guests together.

Make up your own games

If you know your friends would be into a mummifying contest to see who can wrap each other with toilet paper first, go for it! The point of hosting a party is that it’s your own, so don’t be afraid to improvise and come up with your own activity ideas.

No party is complete without food

While you should definitely offer basics like soda and chips, put out some cute, Halloween-themed foods to add more fun to the party.

Choose classic Halloween cookies

We love sugar cookies with orange frosting and black sprinkles, but there are tons of other super easy options to choose from. The Pillsbury sugar cookies printed with ghosts and pumpkins are delicious, and all you have to do is slice and bake them. If you want to get more creative—think bat and cat cookies decorated with licorice and candy corn—Pillsbury has tons of recipes.

Or make your own Halloween cupcakes

Create your own Funfetti dough with Halloween sprinkles to bake festive cookies or cupcakes. Use candy pieces and sprinkles to decorate the cupcakes in Halloween style, like these adorable black cat cupcakes.

Go for tried-and-true Halloween foods like dirt pudding

You loved it when you were younger, and it still tastes just as good. Top chocolate pudding with crushed Oreos and gummy worms, and you’ll have an easy and delicious Halloween treat.

Take the pumpkin theme to a new level

You’re already using pumpkins as decorations, so why not serve pumpkin-themed foods, too? Pumpkin pie is always a safe bet, or be adventurous and use Dreyer’s/Edy’s Pumpkin Ice Cream (about $4 for a carton at most grocery stores) to make Halloween sundaes.

Don’t forget to set out some candy

Reese’s Pieces are a must since they’re Halloween colored, and gummies are festive, too. And, of course, you have to serve plenty of candy corn. Set out a few different options to keep everyone satisfied and add a variety of color to your table.

Don’t forget a killer playlist

If you’re going with a movie theme, you should definitely play a few memorable tracks from the soundtrack, but mix it up with Halloween songs, too. Halloween hits like “Monster Mash” and the Ghostbusters theme are musts, but don’t be afraid to think outside the box. There are tons of ‘80s and ‘90s songs that can be interpreted as Halloween hits—the cheesier, the better. Here are a few of our favorites:

  • “She Blinded Me with Science” by Thomas Dolby. This song is great for an eerie party. Bonus points for the cheesy, faux spooky background noises.
  • “(Don’t Fear) the Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult. The only prescription for an awesome party is… more cowbell! But seriously, could anything be more fitting of a Halloween party than something with “reaper” in the title?
  • “Werewolves of London” by Warren Zevon. This song is about werewolves. Need we say more?
  • “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC. This classic track is perfect for a holiday that originated from discussion of souls and the afterlife. “Hell’s Bells” is a great choice, too.
  • “Disturbia” by Rihanna. This is a classic party track with just the right amount of eeriness for a Halloween party.
  • “Somebody’s Watching Me” by Rockwell. This song has a spooky vibe you can still dance to.
  • “Secret” by The Pierces. Whether or not you watch Pretty Little Liars, this song will send chills down your spine.
  • “This Is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Even without a theme party, this song is a must (for obvious reasons).
  • “Thriller” by Michael Jackson. No Halloween party would be complete without this ‘80s hit. What’s even better than just playing the track? Learn the dance with your friends before the party and impress your guests with your awesome moves.

There you have it, collegiettes—now start planning your own Halloween parties! What are your Halloween plans?

Hillary Clinton Did an Amazing Job Defending Abortion Rights at the Third Presidential Debate

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump finally had to give serious answers about the question of abortion at the third presidential debate Wednesday night, giving reproductive rights a much needed moment in the spotlight during this campaign—and Clinton delivered more than we've come to expect in a country where several states have been trying to roll back abortion rights for years.

Moderator Chris Wallace asked Trump about Roe v. Wade, and Trump gave a predictably vague answer about picking Supreme Court Justices who would overturn the ruling, then passing the issue on to individual states. Then Wallace asked Clinton “how far” she believes the right to abortion goes—specifically in cases of late-term abortions, or abortions after the fetus would be viable for birth.

“I have met with women who toward the end of their pregnancy get the worst news one could get, that their health is in jeopardy if they continue to carry to term or that something terrible has happened or just been discovered about the pregnancy,” Clinton said. “I do not think the United States government should be stepping in and making those most personal of decisions.”

So on late-term abortions, one of the most controversial uses of the procedure, Clinton was absolutely adamant that a woman’s right to choose should be protected. She made the crucial point that women getting these abortions are not women who were just too lazy to do something about their pregnancy earlier, or who decided at the last second that they just didn’t feel like having a baby. Often, late-term abortions are needed because women are struggling to raise money for the procedure, or because a horrific health problem has just arisen. Late-term abortions are also incredibly difficult physically and emotionally, and are only performed by a few doctors around the country—an issue that Jezebel illustrated in a moving interview with a woman who had one. And in the end, it doesn’t matter what a woman’s reasoning is for wanting an abortion, no matter how far into the pregnancy it is. A woman should have absolute autonomy over her own body.

Trump then took Clinton’s answer and tried to make the whole thing into a graphic horror show, talking about how Clinton wants to “rip the baby out of the womb” just before birth. But we know that’s not what’s going on here. This is about a woman’s right to decide what happens to her body and when—a right that shouldn’t still be under attack in 2016.

Donald Trump Called Hillary Clinton a "Nasty Woman" During the Third Presidential Debate

The third and final presidential debate of this year's election was filled with mudslinging, bickering and nasty comments. That last one was literal—Republican nominee Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton a "nasty woman" during the debate.

The comment came amid discussion of entitlement programs, such as social security. Moderator Chris Wallace, host of Fox News Sunday, pointed out that Medicare and Social Security are likely to run out of money in the next couple of decades, and that these programs are 60 percent of our national debt. He asked why neither candidate seemed to be taking this issue seriously, as millions of poeple will lose their benefits if the money runs out.

Wallace's final question was: "Will President Trump make a deal to save middle Medicare and Social Security that included both tax increases and benefit cuts, in effect a great bargain on entitlement?"

When Clinton replied and described her plans for entitlements, she mentioned how her tax increases on the rich will help to pay for the programs. “My Social Security contribution will go up, as will Donald’s, assuming he can’t find a way to get out of it,” Clinton joked.

Trump then leaned into his microphone and said, "Such a nasty woman."

Twitter's response to Trump's comment was swift—viewers did not find the comment appropriate.

Now we can sigh a breathe of relief that these debates are OVER. The important thing that remains is to vote come Nov. 8.

Hillary Clinton Destroyed Donald Trump on 7 Key Issues at the Third Presidential Debate

Well, it's the last presidential debate—thank the heavens—and once again, we, the American people, were subjected to babbling, overtalking and a bunch of potential memes. But, as I see it, Hillary Clinton really embodied the spirit of the late Muhammad Ali, floating ike a butterfly while stinging like a bee. Her debate etiquette has been largely critiqued as too soft, too gracious and poised for her opponent, allowing him to speak over her and interrupt her. And sometimes she wouldn't call him on his false claims when she could, allowing him to essentially punk her. While her rally rhetoric has hit HARD many times, it seemed she lost her spunk each time she stood next to Trump on the debate stage.

But we in for a surprise on Tuesday night when Hillary Rodham Clinton, the woman who refused for many years to even take her husband's name, let alone submit to outward pressures, finally showed up. In a white Ralph Lauren suit, Secretary Clinton really came for blood, not only standing her ground but checking Trump at each turn. ICYMI, here's a list of the times Clinton hit back flawlessly in the last presidential debate.

1. Chinese Steel

The growth of the economy is a big part of all American elections. It's what put President Obama in office and what got President Carter put out of office. Trump was absolutely correct to put job growth on the table, but absolutely wrong one to talk about putting industry jobs back in America. When asked about the economic record, Trump said he noticed under the Clintons and the NAFTA, jobs have been "sucked" out of America all over the country due to companies finding it cheaper and easier to put in other less regulated countries. He then said he would bring industry back to America, as opposed to his opponent whom he believes will enable a softer and less expansive job market. But Clinton pointed out this wasn't always true for the business "mogul".

2. Trump's charitable giving

Another arena where Trump and Clinton are competing. While many have brought up the dubious mistreatment of funds when it came to Haiti and the Clinton foundation, Trump dared to say he's better. Secretary Clinton then pointed out the Trump foundation not only had not released taxes, making his claims of charity unable to be checked but also the Trump foundation had done more dubious things than he cared to admit.

3. Iraq

Even during Trump's choruses of "wrong," Clinton remained steadfast that Trump supported the war in Iraq and had only recently retracted his stance, much like herself. She even told the audience to Google it. Her camp then sent out a cheeky tweet with the Google search link attached, disproving his choruses of "wrong".

4. Years in public service

In his sincerest heart of hearts, Trump has said Clinton has not done a thing for the American people, and his creation of jobs has done more than her, despite her extensive public service record. Clinton took this and spun it into one of the greatest reads we have seen in this election, comparing his business and celebrity record to her work in the public sphere.

5. "Rigged" election

Donald Trump has recently taken up a new claim that the election is rigged, one which really tests the fabric of our democracy. In a fantastic moment by Secretary Clinton, made better by Trump's assertion, Secretary Clinton pointed out this is not a new move by Trump—he has effectively claimed that all things that don't go his way are rigged.

6. Immigration: Mexican-American Border Wall

I think this one speaks for itself.

7. Tax closures

The piece de resistance. When asked about what she will do to improve the economy, Secretary Clinton smartly noted that she will close tax loopholes for the wealthy, in an effort to make everyone pay exactly what they owe. It was at this point Trump says "such a nasty woman" (a certified quotable I hope to embroider onto a jacket).

I may not know what the polls say about who won this debate and to be honest, I kinda don't care. I truly believe we had a solid winner in Hillary Clinton Wednesday night. I would say she deserves my congratulations. Great job, Secretary Clinton. Float like a butterfly, sting like a president.

Signed,

A Fellow Nasty Woman

Angelina Jolie Was Questioned by the FBI About Brad Pitt's Alleged Child Abuse

We were heartbroken when we heard about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's split. But as details emerged, we learned more about the once-perfect couple than we ever thought possible—most of us making us even more sad.

On Tuesday, Jolie was questioned by the FBI in regards to an incident on a plane from France to L.A. An anonymous source reported Pitt physically and verbally abused Maddox, his 15-year-old son, during the flight. It's also rumored that this was one of the reasons Jolie filed for divorce. Jolie and her kids were asked to walk through the incident for the FBI. Though the questioning, which took place over three hours, was not a part of a formal investigation, what comes out of it will help determine if an investigation is necessary. For some time, Maddox was the only one of the family of six children that Pitt had yet to meet with since the divorce—until yesterday, when the two came face-to-face in the presence of a therapist.

Currently, Jolie has custody of the children. Once the temporary agreement expires, the couple will need to either renew it, or come to a new agreement.

This Mother-Daughter Pair Plotted to Kill Their Family With Antifreeze

Diane Staudte, a mother of four, seemed to face the unspeakable when she found her husband, Mark, dead in bed after suffering from flu-like symptoms for a few days. Shortly afterward, her son, Shaun, was found dead on his bedroom floor after complaining of similar symptoms.

“We just thought it was a spate of bad luck,” Mark’s brother, Michael Staudte, told People Magazine.

When Diane’s daughter, Sarah, was hospitalized for organ failure after suffering similar symptoms as her father and brother, their family and friends were shocked, People reports.

According to ABC News, authorities thought that Mark and Shaun had died from natural causes, but when they received an anonymous call about how Diane may have played a role in Mark and Shaun’s deaths, authorities became suspicious.

When the authorities brought in Diane, she ended up confessing for murdering her husband and son. According to Cosmopolitan, she told the police that she “hated [her husband's  guts [because] he would throw things at [her and] he would throw things at [their] kids.” She told authorities that she had had enough, and so she put antifreeze in his drinks.

Diane told police that she put antifreeze in her son’s drinks as well. According to Cosmopolitan, Shaun was “diagnosed with autism and had a history of seizures” and he was a burden to her. She tried to kill Sarah because “she had crushing student debt but lived at home without a job.”

However, when police found Diane’s daughter Rachel’s diary, which contained entries about helping her mother kill her father and brother, the police approached her about it, Cosmopolitan reports. Rachel confessed to helping her mother with the plan.

Diane and Rachel pleaded guilty in the murders and attempted murder. Earlier this year, Diane was sentenced to life in prison without parole, People reports. Rachel was sentenced to two life terms, but she is eligible for parole when she turns 65 years old.

Sarah, who survived the antifreeze poisoning despite suffering neurological damage, said, “I forgive my mom for what she did to me. But she not only took away my dad and brother, but she took away my lifestyle, livelihood and my independence.”

Police Are Still Looking for Suspects After 4 Students Were Shot Outside of a San Francisco High School

Shots rang out at approximately 3:17 pm Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday, as students were being dismissed from the June Jordan School for Equity in San Francisco. Four students were shot in the school’s parking lot, San Francisco Police Officer Carlos Manfredi told CNN.

Three 15-year-old male students and a 15-year-old female student were struck by gunfire, police said, where they were taken to a local hospital and are currently recovering, The Los Angeles Times reports.

Officers who responded to the scene thought that they had arrived at an active shooting scene, because they spotted the injured students inside the school, Officer Manfredi said. The officers began to search for the shooter, since they thought the suspect was still in the school.

According to CNN, the police cleared each room in the school, and approximately an hour later, the lockdown at the school was lifted.

According to CNN affiliate KRON, police are now searching for the suspected shooter, and three other males who accompanied the shooter. According to CNN, it is unclear whether the four male suspects, who were wearing dark hoodies and jeans, fled on foot or in a getaway car. It is suspected that the shooter was targeting the female student, but right now nobody knows what the motive might have been.

The San Francisco Unified School District has said that the shooting was “an isolated incident outside of the school building where one student was being targeted by outsiders.”

“I need to state emphatically that this isolated event, although awful, should not be viewed as a negative reflection on the school,” Myong Leigh, the district interim superintendent, said.

“We deeply appreciate the educators and students at June Jordan School for Equity and will proudly stand by them through this disturbing, but temporary, challenge,” Leigh said.

Classes resumed as normal at the high school on Wednesday.

Taylor Swift Is Fighting To Keep Photo Evidence of Sexual Harassment Private

In 2015, Taylor Swift filed a claim against Colorado radio DJ David "Jackson" Mueller for touching her inapporpriately at a concert in 2013. While the two posed for a photograph, Mueller allegedly reached up her skirt, groping her.

As Swift's claim reads, "Mueller intentionally reached under (Swift’s) skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will and without her permission. Mueller did not merely brush his hand against Ms. Swift while posing for the photograph: he lifted her skirt and groped her."

Mueller, who lost his job as a result, filed a civil slander suit against Swift, denying any wrongdoing. He claims that it was a colleague—not him—who groped Swift.

As the legal battle unfolds, Swift has asked the judge to grant a motion to seal the documents in the case, as they allegedly include photographic evidence of the incident. She has also filed a motion to dismiss the civil slander suit against her.

"In addition to the likelihood of these documents swaying a jury, it is all but assured that the photograph will be shared for scandalous and prurient interests — reasons that have nothing to do with the public’s interest in the Court’s decision-making," the motion argues.

We can only hope her request is granted. Her privacy was violated enough by the incident; if it's true that a photo showing the moment she's being sexually assaulted is included in the court documents, then it goes without saying that making it public would only be violating her again—and there's absolutely no reason to do that.

Kendall Jenner Is All About Freeing Her Nipples

In a recent interview with W magazine, Kendall Jenner recalls the moment she thinks of as the breakthrough moment of her career. At the Fall 2014 Marc Jacobs show, Jenner remembers being mostly excited to walk the famous runway. She was only nervous about one thing.

"Yeah, my biggest concern was definitely falling," Jenner told W. "And then my tits were out. I don’t know why I wasn’t nervous about that. I was really excited about my tits being out, actually."

According CosmopolitanJenner is very comfortable with her body and often posts revealing photos on her social media accounts.

"I don’t know. I’m weird. I love my tits being out. It’s like one of my things, I guess," Jenner said.

But Jenner says there's a limit to how nude she will get. When asked if she would ever do nude photography, she responded with: "No, there’s a line. There’s a definite line. But I’m young. When I’m older, I want to be able to look at it and be, like, I looked good."

You do look good, Kendall! Way to love your body and share that love with the world.

We hit so many Halloween highs and lows throughout our college years. On the one hand, we’ll never outgrow parties or our favorite paranormal movies. On the other hand, though, our neighbors would probably be confused if we came by in costume to collect some of their candy. These cocktail recipes will kick your Halloween into high gear. (If you’re not 21, don’t worry—we’ve got a few alcohol-free variations!)

15 Times Your Professors Tried Even Less Than You Do

Professors are people, too. Sometimes they're tired. Sometimes they're having a lazy day. And sometimes, well, they try even less than their students do. As students, nothing makes us feel so accomplished.

1. When they don't practice what they preach

2. When they make you think your papers have gotten lost somewhere in the space-time continuum

3. When they say they're going to be prepared but just aren't

4. When they give in to having class outside…and still think it is going to be productive

5. When they ignore your emails for several days and then answer you an hour before the test you had questions about

6. When they come to class on Monday morning like, "I don't remember what we were talking about last time, and I definitely don't have anything graded to hand back to you. Rough weekend."

7. When a professor you don't even know walks into the classrom and starts talking to you, having no idea that this isn't his class

8. When they are more excited than you are that school is canceled

9. When they lecture you on how you pay thousands of dollars to come to school…and then cancel class or end it early

10. When you ask them if they are going to hand back your graded tests/papers

11. When they actually have no idea what they're talking about

12. When they get tired halfway through class and just assign the rest for homework

13. When they're bored of the subject they spent their life studying so they go off on a complete tangent about something else

14. When they're trying to do a problem from the book and can't figure it out

15. When you ask a question and they don't know the answer so they say they'll get back to you…and they never do

Nasty Gal Changed Its Name To Nasty Woman After Trump's Comments At The Third Debate

At the third presidential debate of the 2016 election cycle, Donald Trump said four words intended to hurt and offend his opponent, Hillary Clinton: "Such a nasty woman."

It's no surprise that the internet had a strong reaction to his words. Instead of taking offense or lashing out at Trump on social media, many women who support Clinton embraced the word and called themselves "nasty," too.

Among those who claimed the nickname as their own is Nasty Gal, which changed has its name to Nasty Woman on its website. The brand also tweeted about the change.

And the Internet applauded.

Someone even had a suggestion for a men's line, as inspired by last night's debate.

YAS, Nasty Gal! Or should we say, Nasty Woman?

Hello Kitty is turning 42 on November 1—and to celebrate, she's getting her very own ColourPop collection, released the very same day.

The ColourPop x Hello Kitty collection is the makeup brand's biggest collaboration yet, and we can't wait for more details. Right now, we know the collection, which ranges from $5 to $42, will include crème eyeshadow, lip gloss, lipstick, blush, highlighter and more. With the collection geared towards holiday, we'll also be getting a lot of ~sparkle~, such as a ruby red metallic liquid lipstick and shadows infused with glitter, according to WWD.

“All of the beautiful shimmer finishes really speak to the ColourPop customer as well as the Hello Kitty customer,” ColourPop founder Laura Nelson told WWD. “Nothing in the collection is too serious. We wanted to have a playful, fun and experiential element.”

Items from this collaboration are expected to be limited edition, meaning once they sell out, they're gone for good—so mark your calendars on November 1, because missing out on this collection would be the worst.

All the 'Pretty Little Liars' Halloween Costumes, Ranked

Nobody does Halloween quite like the Pretty Little Liars. And throughout the years, they’ve worn an impressive array of costumes. Since we’re still mourning the fact that this year we won’t be getting a new installment in the show’s series of Halloween specials (and that the show is ending after season seven), we’ve ranked all of the ladies’ past costumes below.

10. Spencer as an Old Hollywood actress, “This is a Dark Ride”

There’s no doubt that Spencer looks flawless in this getup, but it’s not the most original costume we’ve ever seen. We bet you could find these items in your closet, too. Instant costume!

9. Emily as Pocahontas, “The First Secret”

Is Emily dressing up as Pocahontas a little predictable? Sure, but she’s got the styling down to a tee.

8. Alison as Lady Gaga, “The First Secret”

Ali’s costume was relevant when this episode aired but not so much anymore. Unless you’re going as Lady Gaga’s American Horror Story: Hotel character this year, we suggest you stick with rocker chick on this one.

7. Hanna as Britney Spears, “The First Secret”

This Britney schoolgirl outfit is a classic—we don't even care that it's a little overdone. Hanna nailed it, and we can see ourselves wearing this when in need of a last-minute ensemble.

6. Aria as a witch, “The First Secret”

You knew Aria would be the one of the gang to tackle a scary costume. Simply dressed as a witch, she pulls it off without even wearing the stereotypical pointy hat. This is definitely for the girl looking to explore her dark side this Halloween.

5. The PLL’s Edwardian-inspired group costume, “Grave New World”

When deciding on a group costume, your entire squad must be in agreement. That’s why this works. You can see each girl’s individual style shine through in her look, but together their wardrobes still make sense.

4. Aria as Daisy Buchanan, “This is a Dark Ride”

We never get tired of a flapper girl costume, especially if said girl is The Great Gatsby’s Daisy Buchanan. It’s all about the sparkly flair of Aria’s sheath dress and flashy accessories. Now if only she hadn’t been trapped in that box with Garrett’s dead body.

3. Hanna as Marilyn Monroe, “This is a Dark Ride”

Hanna makes yet another famous blonde look current with this ode to Marilyn Monroe. The wig, the dress, the pose—everything about this costume is on point.

2. Spencer as Mary, Queen of Scots, “The First Secret”

This costume ranks so high because we honestly did not see it coming. But doesn’t the regal attire of Mary, Queen of Scots suit Spencer so well? From the luxe gown and headpiece to the perfectly coiffed red wig, Spencer’s look is taking us back in time.

1. Emily as Barbarella, “This is a Dark Ride”

The Halloween costume can be a real cliché but not on Emily. The unexpected character choice has us intrigued; we can’t help but applaud the originality of her Barbarella costume.

Which of these PLL Halloween costumes is your favorite, collegiettes?

This Is The Most-Streamed Song on Spotify

When you think of iconic artists, there are a so many that come to mind. But there’s only one artist that has garnered the title of having the most Spotify streams. And according to Cosmopolitan, that artist is Drake.

And which one of Drizzy’s songs makes the cut? If you thought “Hotline Bling” like we did, you’d be wrong, despite all of the parodies. The most streamed song out of Spotify’s expansive list of albums is “One Dance.” And considering the fact that we can’t go without it playing somewhere, it makes so much sense.

Off of Drake’s fourth studio album Views, “One Dance” has been streamed over 880 million times. This beats out the last artists to achieve this accomplishment: “Lean On” by Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MØ, which had 525 million plays worldwide.

All of this is despite Drake originally releasing Views on Apple Music, where it was only found there for two weeks. I guess when you want Aubrey, you want Aubrey.

If you haven't gotten tired of it yet, take a listen below.

Emma Stone Had a Secret Role on 'The Suite Life of Zack & Cody'

Emma Stone is known for her major roles in Hollywood movies, from Easy A to Birdman. But did you ever realize that you were secretly introduced to her back when The Suite Life of Zack & Cody was all the rage?

That's right—Emma's acting origins trace back to Disney Channel. During season one of the show, Emma (who used to go by her first name, Emily) voiced Ivana Tipton, aka London's adorable Pomeranian! So basically, she served up major sass as a spoiled pooch.

Ivana's biggest moment in the show happened during the "Crushed" episode, where she fell in love with Maddie's dog, Scamp.

Emma only appeared in that episode, but she'll return to her Disney roots when she plays Cruella De Vil in the live-action adaptation of 101 Dalmations!
