SoulCycle Collabs With Target For a Clothing Line

We all know SoulCycle as the cult-like cycling studio that has gained a national following for its popping music, atmosphere, and promise of an almost spiritual fitness experience. It looks like the brand is expanding, because SoulCycle just partnered with Target to provide a line of athletic apparel. SoulCycle and Target are also launching a tour of ten cities offering free pop-up classes. Interested fitness lovers will have to sign up for the chance to get a free class on the SoulCycle website. The competition is going to be fierce—so you're going to want to sign up ASAP.

The SoulCycle clothing options Target will be offering pretty much cover all the bases, and come at a much lower price point than SoulCycle's official clothing line. At Target, a tank top is $29, sweatpants are $49 and sweatshirts are $49. The pieces all bear both the SoulCycle and Target logos.

Target has had a history of partnering with higher-end clothing brands: Missoni, Jason Wu, Lily Pulitzer and Lauren Bush, among others. Since the trend of athleisure still seems to be going strong, it makes sense for Target to team up with SoulCycle next. Target's EVP/Chief Marketing Officer Jeff Jones explained another motive in an article for Racked. "Helping our guests succeed in their wellness journey is an important priority for Target. When we thought about the most premier fitness brands, SoulCycle was at the top of our list," he explained. We're proud of Target for incorporating more fitness apparel in its collection and excited to see SoulCycle venture into new cities.
