National Margarita Day is coming up this Sunday, February 22 - not that we need any excuse to get out our blenders and make ourselves some yummy, frozen drinks! If you're craving something colorful and delicious to liven up your weekend, choose one (or all) of these fabulous margaritas to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Cheers!
Step 1: Add two or three ice cubes to a cocktail shaker along with two ounces of tequila and one ounce of lime juice (For best results, juice one whole lime per marg).
Step 2: Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake!
Step 3: Steep one hibiscus teabag in four ounces of hot water for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Discard teabag and let tea cool.
Step 5: Slowly and carefully spoon tea on top of margarita, creating a red layer on top.
Voilà! You have a drink worthy of a cocktail master.
Step 1: Fill cocktail shaker about halfway with ice.
Step 2: Pour two ounces of Voodoo Tiki Green Dragon Tequila into cocktail shaker (this is where the sour flavor comes from!).
Step 3: Add half an ounce of melon liqueur, half an ounce of Triple Sec, an ounce of sour mix and an ounce of orange juice.
Step 4: Cover the shaker and shake up your now bright green concoction.
Step 5: Strain the contents and pour into a glass rimmed with sugar.
Optional step 6: Garnish with a sugar-coated lemon or some rock candy.
Pucker up, buttercup! This drink comes with a kick that will leave you wanting more.
3. The "Chase Your Blues Away" Margarita
Step 1: Grab your margarita mix and pour half a cup into the cocktail shaker along with a handful of ice cubes.
Step 2: Add two ounces of tequila and one ounce of blue curaçao.
Step 3: Shake it up, then strain into a glass.
Optional step 4: Garnish with limes.
If you've been feeling blue, this is just the marg to chase those blues away! Say cheers and cheer up.
Step 1: Freeze one cup of red wine in n ice cube tray.
Step 2: Place two margarita glasses face-down in a dish of water or lime juice, then place glasses face-down in dish of salt and sugar to rim the edges rim the edges.
Step 3: Pour the frozen red wine ice cubes, two tablespoons of Triple Sec, one tablespoon of lime juice and two tablespoons of orange juice into a blender. Puree, then pour this sangria mixture into a glass on the side.
Step 4: Add six ounces of frozen limeade concentrate, two shots of tequila, one shot of Triple Sec and one cup of ice to the blender. Puree until slushy. Pour this margarita mix evenly into two glasses.
Step 5: Add the sangria mixture evenly to each glass of margarita mix, swirling in slowly until distributed throughout whole glass.

Step 2: Add four ounces of tequila, two ounces of Triple Sec, six ounces of fresh blood orange juice and the juice of two limes to a cocktail shaker.
Step 3: Shake well.
Step 4: Fill glasses with ice, then pour the shaken mixture over ice.
Optional step 5: Garnish with lime wedges.
This tasty drink looks bloody refreshing, don't you think? We fancy a sip or two!
6. Classic Strawberry Margarita
Step 1: Put once cup of frozen whole strawberries, six tablespoons of tequila, 1/4 cup of frozen limeade concentrate, two tablespoons of Triple Sec and two cups of crushed ice in a blender. Puree.
Step 2: Pour into four glasses. Clink, then drink!
Simple, yet effective. There's a reason that strawberry margaritas are a classic!
Step 1: Fill blender about a third of the way with ice.
Step 2: Add one cup of tequila, one cup of pineapple juice, 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice, six tablespoons of Triple Sec, four teaspoons of sugar and two tablespoons of Cointreau. Blend.
Step 3: Pour into four glasses, garnish with pineapple wedges and serve!
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? We wish we did, after tasting these yummy margaritas.
Step 1: Combine four ounces of tequila with one peeled and pitted peach in a cocktail shaker. Muddle the peach well.
Step 2: Add two ounces of peach liqueur, one ounce of lemon juice, one ounce of lime juice, 1/4 ounce of agave syrup or simple syrup and plenty of ice to the cocktail shaker.
Step 3: Shake it up.
Step 4: Pour evenly into two chilled glasses, straining out the pulp from the peach.
Optional step 5: Garnish with a peach.
Oh, aren't you a peach! Or at least, you'll be peachy keen once you taste this delightful cocktail.
Step 1: Pour one and a half cups of cubed watermelon, one cup of tequila, half a cup of lime juice, half a cup of orange liqueur, one and a half tablespoons of confectioner's sugar, half a teaspoon of salt and three cups of ice into a blender. Puree.
Step 2: Pour evenly into four glasses.
Optional step 3: Garnish with watermelon wedge or lime wedge.
This crisp, sweet, intoxicating slushie will have you shivering with happiness! Share with three friends (or find one really big glass!).
10. The Corona-rita
Step 1: Juice five limes and one orange into a measuring cup.
Step 2: Add one cup of tequila, half a cup of grand marnie, and one cup of simple syrup. Mix together to create magarita mixture.
Step 3: Salt the rims of six glasses by dipping them first in lime juice, then in salt.
Step 4: Add five cups of ice to blender. Pour just enough of the margarita mix over the ice that the ice is not completely covered. Blend. Continue adding margarita mix until desired thickness is achieved.
Step 5: Pour margarita into salt-rimmed glass. Open a bottle of Corona and place it upside-down in the glass, submerging it into the margarita.
If you're not into super sweet cocktails, this beer-infused margarita might be your best bet. Don't forget your bottle opener!

Step 2: Add one chopped mango, 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice, half a cup of tequila and 1/4 cup of Triple Sec to a blender. Puree.
Optional step 3: Add honey until sweet enough for your taste.
Step 4: Add two cups of ice and blend completely.
Step 5: Pour into glasses and garnish with a lime wedge.
Sometimes you want something that's both tart and sweet, and this fruity margarita hits the spot.
