As per usual, the Girls season 4 premiere red carpet was not your typical parade of red carpet looks. From Lena’s chic midi look to Zosia’s statement-making bright red dress, the cast of Girls once again did not fail to disappoint when it comes to super chic fashion inspiration. Let’s just say that if the new season is just as great as the cast’s red carpet style, we won’t be missing an episode. Keep scrolling to see our favorite looks below!

Lena Dunham

Never one to wear your average red carpet strapless floor length gown, Lena Dunham, the show’s creator and star opted for a midi length Creatures of the Wind dress with just the perfect amount of blue and green shimmer. Lena also debuted her return to a pretty chestnut brown hair color, proving she can rock any hair color, from platinum blonde, to dark brunette, to even her recent bright green.

Allison Williams

True to her feminine, polished character Marnie on Girls, Allison Williams donned a ladylike Monique Lhuillier frock with a gorgeous sparkling navy skirt. We’re loving the way she mastered the perfect balance between classic, with the strapless shape, and fashion-forward with the midi cut and smoky makeup.

Zosia Mamet

Okay, so it took us a second to recognize Zosia Mamet without her character Shoshanna’s signature sock bun—but when we did, we were totally amazed at how on-point her siren red Alexander McQueen dress looks here. We also have to admit... the grey hair is growing on us.

Jemima Kirke

For her look, Jemima Kirke went for classic, understated glamour—and it totally worked. From the slinky black silk fabric of her Adam Lippes dress to its up-to-there leg slit, Jemima totally rocked it. Major bonus points for the cute strappy heels that peeked out of her dress for the night!

Rita Wilson

Wilson, who plays Marnie’s mom on the show, took the jumpsuit route for her red carpet look. We love the way her sparkly plum-colored jumpsuit looks just as glammed up as any gown, but is still a fun twist on typical red carpet style.

Gillian Jacobs

Jacobs, who will play recurring character Mimi-Rose Howard in season 4, opted for a navy dress with orange accents and super fashion-forward cutout shoulders. Orange and navy together are totally unexpected, but Jacobs makes them work. Add super cool nude heels with floral details, and we only have one word: Chic.

Our excitement for the new season has officially reached obsessive levels. Will you be keeping up with Girls this season, collegiettes?
