Whether you’re looking to get answers to specific questions about your gender or sexuality or you just want some entertainment from someone you can actually relate to, these LGBTQ+ YouTube vloggers are here for all that and more. Check them out!

1. GirlfriendsTV

GirlfriendsTV is a YouTube channel made for gay men, gay women and anyone who fits in between. Primarily run by Arielle Scarcella, a young lesbian woman intent on sharing her experiences with dating, sex and LGBTQ+ issues, the channel also features a wide cast of guest stars and experts. Their videos cover a variety of topics, including queer stereotypes, coming out, sex and trans issues. GirlfriendsTV recognizes that it’s difficult to be told to “be yourself” and that “you’re not alone” without providing any outlets, so they hope to help change that and give viewers positive and relatable content!

2. Laci Green

Laci Green is a 25-year-old queer feminist sex educator. Laci studied gender and sexuality at the University of California, Berkley, as the topic of sexuality has always interested her. She runs an educational channel called Sex+ where she covers many topics, such as abusive relationships, sexuality, current events and body image, among others. Laci enjoys interacting with her viewers and will sometimes do Q&A videos where she answers questions that her viewers have asked her. Laci Green’s channel is a great place to find answers to the questions that you’re too embarrassed to ask—or even Google!

3. Jazz Transgender

Jazz Jennings is a 14-year-old trans girl who makes videos about her life and being a young trans person. She talks about her gender identity, sexual orientation and some of the struggles of growing up with a gender identity that she knew didn’t fit her. Jazz is cheerful in her videos, but she also talks about trans issues and answers questions seriously.

Though she may be younger than us collegiettes, Jazz has a lot she can teach us about trans issues since she explains them in a way that’s easy to understand. Jazz has also written a book called I Am Jazz to share her experience with other trans kids, and she makes silicone mermaid tails to help raise money for TransKids Purple Rainbow Foundation, a foundation that helps support trans youth.

4. RoyalzFamily

RoyalzFamily are a group of friends from New York City who make videos together about their lives and experiences of being LGBTQ+ and black. Their videos also discuss bisexuality, cheating and dating. A lot of their videos address difficult issues to talk about, such as domestic violence and the myth of “praying the gay away.”

5. Hannah Hart

Best known for her fun My Drunk Kitchen videos where she cooks while intoxicated, Hannah Hart also vlogs about topics from how to be an adult to how to ask another girl if she’s gay. No matter what she’s talking about, her upbeat videos are always fun to watch.

6. Gigi Gorgeous

Makeup lovers and beauty gurus, if you’re not already watching trans vlogger Gigi Gorgeous’s videos, you should be. Her channel is full of fashion and beauty tips as well as hilarious and personal stories about her life, informative answers to questions about being trans and everything in between. If anyone can tell you what must-have products you should stock up on, it’s this girl.

7. OliviaHas2Moms

Ebony and Denise are a married lesbian couple and moms to their daughter, Olivia. They discuss their experiences on their channel called OliviaHas2Moms. The couple has been together for eight years and legally married for three of them.

Though some of their videos address the hardships that come with being in a same-sex marriage as well as being a gay couple with a child, their channel largely consists of them vlogging about their day-to-day life, including going to Pride, going to VidCon and celebrating Christmas. Follow this sweet family as they post their new adventures!

It’s easy to feel alone or like you don’t have much representation anywhere when you’re LGBTQ+, so hopefully these channels let you know that there are others out there like you. Check them all out!
