ICYMI, absolute icon and prominent trans YouTuber Nikita Dragun blasted Victoria's Secret on social media yesterday. The social media star completely recreated Victoria's Secret's classic Fantasy Bra ad, featuring her own version of the million dollar bra reserved for VS veterans. And yes, the internet rightfully lost its damn mind.
dear Victoria’s Secret,
you said trans women can’t sell the “fantasy” so here i am as a TRANS WOMAN selling the FANTASY! 👼🏻 pic.twitter.com/rKQHp7SLNq— Nikita Dragun (@NikitaDragun) December 5, 2018
The video comes in response to transphobic comments made by Ed Razek, Victoria's Secret's Chief Marketing Officer. In an interview with Vogue, Razek stated the annual show should not include "transexuals" because "the show is a fantasy."
Dragun posted the video on Twitter stating "Dear Victoria’s Secret, you said trans women can’t sell the “fantasy” so here i am as a TRANS WOMAN selling the FANTASY!" In only 24 hours, the video received 4.4 million views on Instagram and 5.3 million views on Twitter. Dragun even took it upon herself to @ Victoria's Secret on Twitter, but Victoria's Secret has yet to respond.
yo @VictoriasSecret what’s good?!
