It's almost time to head to a whole new world!
The first teaser for the live-action remake of Aladdin was released on Thursday night, quickly gaining a lot of traction with over 89 thousand likes on the movie’s main Twitter account.
Aladdin's first teaser takes viewers to Agrabah where Iago is seen flying above making his way to the Cave of Wonders, which heeds the warning, "Only one may enter here... the diamond in the rough." Then, Aladdin himself, who is portrayed by Mena Massoud, is revealed, attempting to pick up the magical lamp as the screen abruptly turns black.

The teaser comes one day after Will Smith, who will be playing Robin Williams’ wise-cracking Genie, posted a first glimpse of the movie’s poster. “LEMME OUT!! Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE!” he captioned the image.
Aladdin will also star Naomi Scott as Jasmine, and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. The film is slated to be released in May 24, 2019.
