It's the most wonderful time of the year... That's right. It's music festival season. As Coachella passes by and makes way for other music festivals to make their debut, iHeartRadio is gearing up to kick off the summer with its annual Wango Tango festival, in partnership with AT&T. Taking place at the brand new Banc of California Stadium in sunny Los Angeles, iHeartRadio's Wango Tango will be the first concert to break-in the venue.
Ryan Seacrest will be hosting Wango Tango 2018, and the list of performances include a ton of your faves, from Ariana Grande to Shawn Mendes, Miguel, and more. Now, if you're not able to snag tix and make it out in person, don't worry! ATT.com is going to be exclusively livestreaming the event for fans nationwide. Additionally, Freeform is set to broadcast an exclusive 90-minute TV special on Sunday, June 3rd at 8pm ET/PT. The all-day music festival is going to be something that no one will ever forget, and iHeartRadio wants to make sure that everyone gets a chance to experience it.
"We're excited to take this iconic summer kick-off event to a national level as we partner with today's top artists, and for the first time ever, livestream the entire show with AT&T, and broadcast the event on iHeartRadio stations nationwide and through a can't-miss television special on Freeform, June 3," John Ivey, President of CHR Programming Strategies for iHeartMedia and KIIS FM, said in a statement.
Having grown up in Southern California with family who actually worked for iHeartRadio and other radio stations, I grew up going to Wango Tango my entire life! This all-day festival is now 20 years old—that's a whole two decades—and coincidentally, my age. It was always my favorite time of year, and some of the best performances that I've seen have included artists like Kanye West, Calvin Harris, and Justin Bieber. Going to Wango Tango definitely made summers feel like summer—happy, warm, bright, and fun.
Tickets will first be made available to eligible AT&T customers though pre-sale, beginning on Tuesday, April 24th at 10 a.m. PT through April 26th at 9:59 a.m. PT on the AT&T THANKS app. The general public will be able to purchase tickets on Saturday, April 28th at 10 a.m. PT via axs.com.
