But, life comes at you fast. So grab a cup of coffee and settle in for this quick and dirty guide to stories you might’ve been sleeping on (like, literally. It’s early.)

Trump Threw Paper Towels at People in Puerto Rico — Seriously

In case you couldn't have already guessed, Trump's visit to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria was basically a disaster. When speaking with government officials, he compared it to "real disaster," Hurricane Katrina, saying that Puerto Rico should be proud that their death count was, "Sixteen versus literally thousands of people." House Passes Ban on Abortions After 20 Weeks

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would criminalize abortion 20 weeks after pregnancy, CNN reports. The House voted 237 to 189 to pass it, though it will likely be tougher for the bill to make it through the Senate which is more narrowly divided on the issue and probably won't prioritize voting on it. Planned Parenthood has called the ban unconstitutional, saying it is, "a clear attempt to erode Roe v. Wade."

What to look out for...

In case you need something to get you through the week, Starbucks is bringing back pumpkin spice-flavored whipped cream this Thursday, Oct. 5 — the perfect way to treat yourself and get into those ~fall feels~.
