A collaboration between Union Wine Co. and clothing brand Wildfang will allow you to support Planned Parenthood and drink wine in one delicious move, reports Refinery29.
The team-up between the two Oregon-based companies produced GET IT GIRL wine. Delish describes it as a canned wine that’s “a refreshing blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminern and Pinot Gris that boasts flavors like lime and jasmine.” It comes in a four pack and flat of 24 cans for those who are truly dedicated to both wine and the protection of amazing healthcare.
All of the profits from the wine will go straight to Planned Parenthood so they can continue to provide their crucial services, just a few among many being, “cancer screenings, STD testing, prenatal care, birth control, adoption referrals, HIV testing, and hormone therapy for transgender patients.”
Where exactly did this wonderful idea come from? Wildfang CEO Emma Mcilroy told Delish the two companies came together to collaborate over the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. She said being able to make a positive impact and statement for women’s rights while being able to drink a lot of wine is “a match made in heaven.”
Wildfang also encouraged their followers on Instagram to speak out against the no longer operational Graham-Cassidy bill by calling their senators.
