Put yourself in a room full of Bachelor fans and you’ll still hear plenty of mixed thoughts about new leading man Arie Luyendyk, Jr. Whether or not you like this racecar driver from many, many rose ceremonies ago, the filming of his season is now in full swing. Refinery29 reports that this year's Bachelor contestants entered the mansion Wednesday night, while franchise creator Mike Fleiss shared a behind-the-scenes pic of Arie on his new turf.
"Guess who's back?" Fleiss tweeted alongside a photo of himself with Arie and host Chris Harrison. "Arie's back. Tell a friend."

"Fantastic group of women,"Fleiss shared afterwards. "[Arie] has got some tough choices to make tonight..."
Although he has posted even more detailed photos of the show's first night in the past, Fleiss has stayed quiet on any other Bachelor happenings. Meanwhile, spoiler guru Reality Steve has already revealed a few women from this season and responded to one of Fleiss's tweets with a new nickname for Arie: "Not Peter." Thanks for saying what we're all really thinking, Steve!
And let the farce begin. I bet the girls are fired up for Not Peter https://t.co/t6GJVHTuI9

Other responses to Fleiss's photo also aren't very positive. Production overlooking Peter and other potential Bachelor contenders clearly caused some broken hearts.
The fact that this is real is an absolute joke. #thebachelor#notmybachelorpic.twitter.com/QW7SpJntnj

Okay, so that room of Bachelor fans may feel more negative towards Arie than indifferent. Nonetheless, we wish him the best as filming proceeds! The Bachelor returns to ABC this January.
