President Trump reportedly plans to dismantle the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals act, and many people across the nation are not on board with the decision. One unhappy critic is Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui, who used her very public platform to express her disgust with the president's actions. On Monday, Lauren took to Twitter to send an open letter to @realDonaldTrump, saying that she is pro-DACA and anti-Trump.

The bold letter reads, "It’s incredible to me that you’ll pardon a man who is known for running his prison as a Latino concentration camp and call him a patriot, but then deport kids with a dream to be successful citizens with safe lives. You disgust me. You and your squad of Republican elite/cowards are truly sick humans. Pardoning criminals and criminalizing the vulnerable. #SaveDACA”

According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, DACA was instated in 2012 by President Obama to protect and support young immigrants. Under this act, minors who were illegally brought to America can apply for deferred action and receive work authorization, so long as they attend school and are not convicted of any felony or significant misdemeanors. If Trump successfully rescinds DACA, it will affect an estimated 790,000 people who came to the United States as children, Teen Vogue reports.

Jauregui has a history of sharing her discontent with POTUS. As she told Teen Vogue earlier this year, she began to speak out during "...the beginning of the [presidential] campaigns, and especially when I started seeing the way that Donald Trump was running his campaign off of hatred, bigotry, slander, and disrespect toward so many different kinds of people."

As Lauren proves, Trump's critics are louder than ever and definitely not backing down anytime soon.
