London police are still searching for a jogger who may have tried to push a pedestrian into the path of a bus early this May, reports The Guardian.

CCTV footage of the Putney Bridge in southwest London shows that the jogger crashed into the 33-year-old woman on the morning of May 5th, knocking her off her feet and backwards into the road. The bus driver had very little time to react, but managed to swerve and avoid hitting her. Immediately, the bus driver stopped the bus and the passengers onboard rushed to the woman's aid. The woman's injuries, thankfully, were minor. Meanwhile, the guy just kept jogging away. WTF?

Hang on—the story gets even weirder. Fifteen minutes later, the jogger traveled back across the bridge going the opposite direction. The woman was still there and attempted to get his attention and speak to him, but officers say “he did not acknowledge her.” So you knock someone in front of a bus and then just...pretend you didn't? NBD?

As Metropolitan Police Sgt. Mat Knowles said in a statement, “The victim was put in extreme danger when she was knocked into the road. It was only due to the superb quick reactions of the bus driver that she was not hit by the vehicle.” He added, ""We are keen to speak to the jogger in the CCTV about what happened that morning. We would urge him or anyone who recognizes him to get in touch with us as soon as possible."

The Metropolitan Police have put out an appeal for witnesses to come forward, or anyone who may recognize the jogger in the footage. Tip lines can be found here, and social media-savvy witness can also tweet them at @MetCC. Here's hoping they apprehend him soon!
