For obvious reasons, the Internet was shook this week when Jay-Z dropped his long-awaited album4:44, which turned out to be a response (and confession) to what tons of fans thought were cheating allegations in his wife Beyoncé's last album, Lemonade. While his lyrics addressing the infamous "Becky with the good hair" are pretty much giving everyone all the feels, it sounds like he and Bey are past the drama and stronger than ever. (Bless.)

A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce) on

In an interview with the New York Timesmusic producer No I.D., who worked closely with Jay-Z as the only producer on 4:44, opened up about Queen Bey's role in the album - and of course, she played a major role in the final product.

"I always call Bey our de facto A&R," No I.D. told the Times. "Pillow talk is the strongest conversation on the planet. Every song has to get past her ears, in my eyes. She came by a lot and played a good part in helping us get over hurdles on certain records. Of course she’s genius-level with that."

Translation: Basically, every single song on 4:44 was Beyoncé-approved, which is basically the most power couple thing ever. While they went through some tough times, Bey and Jay clearly respect and trust each other's opinions when it comes to their work, which makes them even more #CoupleGoals than we thought they were. (If that's even possible.)
