The Met Gala is all about being daring and celebrating fashion. Celebrities show up in beautiful and out-of-the ordinary outfits, and it's magical. As celebrities slay the carpet, we have to make do with lurking on Twitter. Well, a Twitter user decided to cure her FOMO by creating Met Gala outfits at home and sharing a short video on Twitter. Quenlin Blackwell made her DIY haute couture look good though with her killer catwalk.
The teen wrote, "I wasn't able to make it to The #MetGala but here are my outfits for the event!!..These looks took YEARS to create." She won the internet's heart in only 38 seconds. Not even Jaden Smith holding his dreads or Rihanna's incredible dress got this much Internet love! Quenlin got over 90,000 likes on Twitter and people are trying get her on the actual Met carpet next year. Make it happen, Twittersphere!
