In a recent interview with E! News, Bachelor in Paradise couple Carly Waddell and Evan Bass spilled on wedding planning, having kids and even about Amanda and Josh (ooh!).
The couple told E! that they are happier than ever and ready to start the next chapter in their relationship. "I think that relationship wise, we're definitely more in love than we ever were before," Carly said. "I think we fall more for each other every day which is fun." She added, "It was always good, [but] it's just that as we got to know each other better and better. We fell for each other even harder. We've never had a bad spell. It's always been consistently good."
The pair is currently living in Nashville, and according to Evan, his sons absolutely "adore" Carly. "I really do feel like part of the family now. And they know that I can't cook and they still accept me," Carly said. Sounds like a perfect family to me.
It seems like most Bachelor couples have failed, so what's behind the success of Carly and Evan? In the interview, Evan said that they've kept things fun and positive as a couple. "I hate how people think there's some kind of fairytale in front of the cameras...We're just living a normal life, you know?" he said. "We talk step-by-step, and we work through. I think that our communication and our ability to have conversations...that's been the key to working on our relationship and working towards marriage."
Since the couple is completely in love, Carly revealed, "I think we're going to have a wedding date in like two weeks [and] it's going to be this year." They expect many members of the Bachelor franchise will be in attendance including Wells Adams, Shawn Booth, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Jade Tolbert and many more. Omg, this better be televised.
As of right now, Carly and Evan are taking their time with his sons fully getting to know her, and she's waiting to move in until after they get married. "We just wanted to give that it's proper time," she said. "I feel so fulfilled being a part of Evan's family, and I think that we just really gave it time and eased into it and let everyone kind of feel it out, and that is what really worked for us. We never pushed anything, we never jumped in too fast."
Carly and Evan were also asked what they thought about the split between Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray, since they were all on the same season of Paradise together. The couple said that breakups are always hard and it's sad to see their friends go through something so terrible.
"I feel bad for Amanda, and as much as I am not a fan of Josh whatsoever, I feel bad for him going through this stuff," Evan, who vocally wasn't a fan of their relationship during BIP, said. "Again, there's all these rumors about what she said and what he said, and I think I told Amanda, 'I told you so' at some point."
Even though we do feel bad for Amanda and Josh, we couldn't be more excited for Carly and Evan. The two are more than ready to get married, and I'm pretty sure America is ready to see them tie the knot too. Here's hoping we get another televised Bach wedding!
