Certain things Demi Lovato said in an interview with Glamour are creating even more bad blood between her and the "Bad Blood" queen herself.
Demi already called on "a certain feminist," who many think is Taylor Swift, in February to speak out about Kesha's lawsuit against Dr. Luke, and she's continuing to vocalize how she feels about the star.
"But I think in certain situations, certain people could be doing more if they’re going to claim that as part of their brand," she told Glamour. "To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble, I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it’s not real.”
We don't know any other squad she'd be referencing besides Taylor's. She also called Taylor out for her Katy Perry-bashing hit "Bad Blood."
“I think that having a song and video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment," she said. "We all do things that aren’t, but I have to ask myself, Am I content with calling myself a feminist? Yes, because I speak out.”
Demi has since been defending her comments on Twitter, claiming that she won't apologize "for saying what everyone want[s] to say."
I get asked questions. I answer them. Sue me.
