As you've probably already heard, Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint and robbed while staying at l’Hotel de Pourtalès in Paris. Multiple men dressed as police officers "bound and gagged" her, according to Cosmopolitan.com, and locked her in a bathroom while they stole more than $10 million worth of jewelry.
Now, new details about how Kim escaped and was able to call for help have emerged.
A source close to Kim told People she "was tied up, and gagged with duct tape wrapped around her head. They put plastic ties around her wrists but she managed to squeeze her hands out of the wrist ties by wriggling her hands." They also said Kim "was hysterical but not screaming as she knew she had to keep quiet to survive."
A different source said that once Kim was free from the ties, she ran to the balcony and screamed for help. Simone Harouche, her friend and former stylist, heard her and texted Kim's bodyguard, who rushed back to the hotel to meet them. E! News reported that Kim still had duct tape on her legs when Harouche ran to meet her.
These details make the story even scarier, and we still can't believe it happened. Stay strong, Kim!
