When this season of The Bachelorette started, it was pretty clear to us that Jordan and JoJo had an instant connection. At first, Jordan seemed like a good guy. His brother is a star football player, and he seemed to be brought up by a pretty good family. He wanted to save JoJo from Chad, and he repeatedly showed her how much he loved her. But as the season went on, we began to have more and more issues with Jordan. Here are four reasons why deciding to marry Jordan would be the biggest mistake of JoJo's life.
1. JoJo's family didn't really approve
When JoJo introduced Jordan to her parents and siblings, they all made it pretty clear they weren't sure about the relationship. They didn't buy his charming act quite as quickly as JoJo did, and that's a sign JoJo should probably pay a little more attention to. JoJo hasn't made the best decisions about who to trust in the past, and this might be another one of those times.
2. Jordan has some family issues
The Bachelorette has been very focused on Jordan's relationship with his brother. Even Aaron Rodgers has told the press that he doesn't like the way Jordan has talked about private family problems on national television. If Jordan is so fast to bad-mouth his brother, imagine what kinds of things he could be saying about JoJo behind her back.
3. He has a bad reputation
Robby wasn't the only one surrounded by rumors about his past relationships. Jordan was hesitant to talk to JoJo about his ex-girlfriends, and rumors spread throughout tabloid magazines that Jordan's only goal was to become the next Bachelor. Does this mean that he wasn't really looking for love with JoJo? It seems like he's in it more for the fame than for a real relationship, so it wouldn't be suprising if JoJo gets hurt once again.
4. He chickened out when faced with the possibility of marriage
When given the chance to ask JoJo's parents for their permission to propose, Jordan chickened out. He easily could have pulled her parents aside when he met her family, but he never did. JoJo's parents were clearly upset about this, as was JoJo when they broke the news to her. Eventually he did give them a phone call, but that's not nearly as good as having that conversation in person.
