If you’re like us, you’re probably still wallowing over the Taylor Swift/Calvin Harris breakup. If you’re like Taylor Swift, probs not. The pop princess was recently caught smooching new beau Tom Hiddleston.
The paparazzi snapped photos of the pair looking pretty cozy atop some seaside rocks near Swift’s Rhode Island home—just two weeks after her split with Harris.
The quick turnaround left fans wondering whether or not Hiddleswift is really all that new, and even crazier, if Hiddleston actually predicted the whole thing weeks before it all went down.
In an interview with MTV UK back in May, Hiddleston said that Swift was “very charming” when they connected at the Met Gala. The two shared a highly spontaneous, highly entertaining dance to songs by The Weeknd, T.I. and Beyoncé. And, he says, it was all Taylor’s idea. “I was on a table with Taylor Swift and The Weeknd was playing and she said, ‘The thing about these parties is nobody gets up to dance’…so we got up and danced.”
When asked about the possibility of a duet at the time, Hiddleston said jokingly, “We’ll see, you never know.” But we’re thinking maybe he knew…and maybe Taylor did too?
