How accessible are sexual health services on your campus? Trojan Condoms has just published its 10th annual ranking of the most sexually healthy colleges in the U.S., and Oregon State University has taken the top spot for the second year in a row.

Schools are “graded” on a 4.0 scale, like a GPA. 140 schools were surveyed on such categories as quality of sexual health and information resources, contraception availability (and its cost), availability of STI testing, outreach programs, sexual assault resources, hours of operation and allowing walk-in appointments. The average score among all schools surveyed was 3.0—up from 1.9 when the survey first began in 2006. The study found that, overall, schools are making positive progress in improving resources for students.

“With an unparalleled network of enthusiastic student peer groups with interesting and engaging programs, Oregon State University is a leader in campus sexual health resources,” said Bert Sperling, president of Sperling’s BestPlaces, who conducted the survey, said of the top-ranked school. “The school’s dedication to improving its offerings to students allows it to come out on top of the rankings for the second year in a row.”

The school with the biggest jump was the University of Utah, moving up 43 spots from last year to no. 59. While Columbia University dropped to eighth place from the second spot last year, this is its eighth consecutive year in the top ten—the most of any other school surveyed.

You can check out the complete list here. Was your school surveyed? If not, how do you think it would have fared?
