Everyone’s favorite app for taking funny pictures just rolled out a huge new update--and it’s pretty awesome. Most importantly, you can step up your selfie game with the new Lenses, which add animated effects to selfies and are both hilarious and slightly terrifying. Now, you can give yourself heart eyes, a rainbow tongue, or even turn into an old person or a zombie (or whatever the heck that thing is supposed to be). We don’t know about you, but we had a blast trying out this feature on our television screens while watching the Republican debate on Wednesday.
Perhaps the most controversial of the new updates: you can now replay Snapchats--for a small extra fee. You can get 3 replays for $0.99, 10 for $2.99, or 20 for $4.99. This might come in handy when we’re sent a snap of pure comedic gold we weren’t expecting and didn’t get to screenshot in time, but we’re still on the fence about whether or not shelling out the extra money is worth it.
