As junior collegiettes, some of us would often practice our Academy Award speeches, see that beautiful smile staring back at us and use our hairbrush as a microphone. In a new commercial, these teen girls are practicing their speeches not for their Oscar (but they might get one in the future!), but the award for their own unique beauty.
Seventeen reports that during that very entertaining VMAs, Clean & Clear aired a commercial that depicted seven teenage girls describing what makes them different and how much they love their identifying attributes.
The video ends with the message: “The best acceptance speeches are the ones we give ourselves.” #SelfAcceptanceSpeech has already gotten a huge following on Twitter, as girls across the globe congratulate themselves on just being who they are; the best award one can receive.
