We've all probably tried Tinder and realized that there's a pretty rare chance that swiping left or right will actually help us find true love. That's why three friends from Boston who clearly just get us came together to create an app that'll connect us to the real bae: food.

Designed mainly for millennials interested in eating out less and cooking more, Tender takes food porn to a whole new level by replacing potential dates with potential recipes.

"As a twenty-something, we are all constantly combating the impulse to just eat-out or pick something up," co-creator Jordan Homan told Boston.com. "But Tender gets you psyched about the prospect of making food, and it makes it easy to do so."

Tender will show you some of tens of thousands of recipes and give you the option to swipe right to keep a recipe and swipe left to throw one away. You can also filter out your search by narrowing down your interests to desserts, chicken, beef, vegan food and more. Eventually, the app will pick up on your preferences via all of the recipes that are now saved in your "Cookbook," and will share recipes that are more similar to your liking.

According to its creators, Tender also plans to add an undo button (at no extra charge) for those who accidentally swipe left on a recipe as well as filters for breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes. The app is free and available for download on iPhone and Android.
