Maybe you want to reminisce on the "glory days." Maybe you're trying to find an old picture. Maybe you're just really bored. But regardless, you have decided to look through your old Facebook photos and slowly realize the old days were the farthest thing from gloryful and despite how cool you thought your color-coordinated braces were they most definitely were not. Here are 17 thoughts every girl has while looking through old FB photos.

1. Aw, look how skinny I was…

Guess it’s true you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone.

2. Ew, look how skinny I was! If I turned sideways, you might’ve lost me.

3. How in the world did I think that outfit was even remotely acceptable?!

4. No really, was I blind, or was there something in the Kool-Aid?

5. I was a walking Hollister advertisement.

An unfortunate looking, might-be-mistaken-for-a -wig, possibly-making-them-negative-profit advertisement.

6. Who invented the duck face?

7. Like honestly, who said you know what the most sexy animal to impersonate would be? A duck!

8. And why did we all go along with it?

9. Did my mom actually teach me how to use make-up or was I just winging it?

10. Note to self: thank your friends for being your friends even when you were a heinous creature.

11. Untag… Untag… ugh thank god for puberty.

12. I wonder what happened to *insert cute boy’s name from your freshman year English class*…

13. Welp. Looks like he got some girl pregnant.

Guess I dodged that bullet… and by dodged I mean he refused to talk to me and that was clearly the luck of fate and not due to my terrifying hair-do.

14. Ah, this was the party where Jenny’s mom found the handles we stole in the basement and we were all grounded for a month…

Good times.

15. I miss the old days sometimes. Life was so much easier…

16. Actually scratch that, I don’t miss it at all. College beats high school every day of the week.

17. And we’re back to the beginning… Well this has been traumatic.

I need a glass of wine. And to have a long talk with my mom about ever letting me leave the house looking like that from 7th-11th grade.
