Frappuccino lovers, prepare for your wildest dreams to come true! In what may be the greatest news of all time, Starbucks has decided to release six new Frappuccino flavors, all in the same day. Yes, you read that right. We're just as excited as you are.
In celebration of our favorite drinkable dessert's 20th anniversary, Starbucks has decided to take note of fan requests and compile a new collection of the most desired and recommended Frappuccino flavors, labeled Fan Flavor Frappuccinos. The catch? Five of these decadent drinks will not be permanent. Starting on June 19, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite new flavor. The most popular pick will earn a permanent place among the Frappuccino classics, and results will be released on July 3. If that isn't sweet enough, from July 3 to July 6, Starbucks will offer a grande-sized drink of the new menu flavor for only $3—so basically, our summers have just been made.
We've outlined each of the six new flavors to help you plan your pick and fulfill your dreamy drink desires. Thank us later.
1. Red Velvet Cake
This drink, inspired by a classic dessert favorite, features chocolate chips, whipped cream, and mocha, raspberry and vanilla syrups. Sign us up!
2. Cotton Candy
This blend features all of the ingredients of the classic Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, but with the addition of raspberry syrup. You may recognize this flavor as one of Starbucks' secret menu stars, but now you never have to be embarrassed to order it again! Why? You simply have to taste it to ensure that Starbucks lovers get the best new menu item. It's basically a scientific study.
3. Cinnamon Roll
Perhaps the most decadent of all, this coffee blend is comprised of cinnamon dolce, white chocolate mocha and vanilla bean flavors. With the addition of cinnamon dolce sprinkle on your whipped cream, you'll be spiced into Frappuccino heaven.
4. Lemon Bar
We're most intrigued by this tart choice, which gives us all the more reason to try it! The blend is a unique mix of lemonade and vanilla, topped with classic whipped cream and a surprise sprinkle of caramel sugar.
5. Caramel Cocoa Cluster
Excuse us while we refrain from drooling. This drink is made of coffee combined with toffee nut syrup and dark caramel sauce. Topped to perfection with whipped cream and a mocha drizzle, our mouths are watering just thinking about it.
6. Cupcake
A drink as sweet as its namesake, this flavor closely resembles the limited edition Birthday Cake Frappuccino that made an appearance in stores last Spring. Another rendition of the Vanilla Bean classic, this blend adds in hazelnut syrup for that cakey taste we're all addicted to.
The conclusion? We're giving you permission to use these next few weeks as an all-you-can-drink Frappuccino fiesta. We'll be dropping into the nearest Starbucks during our morning commute or lunch break, and we encourage you to do the same—after all, you don't want to be responsible for picking the wrong flavor, right? Of course, we doubt any of these flavors will fail your Frappuccino fantasies.
