We certainly hope you collegiettes don't have any prior commitments (like hideous skirt conventions).
For years, there have been talks of a Broadway adaptation of the hit movie The Devil Wears Prada, and it looks like it just might be happening! In 2013, Broadway prodcuer Kevin McCollum signed a deal with 20th Century Fox to create stage adaptations of the film company's biggest hits, including Ever After and Mrs. Doubtfire. Now, the ambitious producer is adding The Devil Wears Prada to his agenda. Needless to say, this was our reaction when we found out:
Given the fact that the film's main stars have all had experience in stage productions, it would be perfect to have them reprise their roles. But just in case that doesn't happen, let the dream casting begin!
Although additional details haven't been announced, we can only hope that whoever plays Miranda Priestly will bring the same amount of sass and sarcasm that Meryl brought to the role.
Until further details are released, we'll just sit here with our fashion magazines and wait as patiently as possible.
