Many people dread winter because of the cold and sometimes icky weather, but honestly, it’s our favorite time of the year! With all of the happenings that are on the horizon, it’ll soon be your be yours, too! Something tells us this is going to be a season to remember, so don’t miss out on what’s to come. Here’s why we can’t wait for this winter:
1. Winter-themed drinks
Starbucks always brings back its novelty drinks (featuring flavors like peppermint and gingerbread) during the snowy season, but it’s new additions like the Chestnut Praline Latté that have us obsessing this winter!
2. The season’s biggest blockbusters
Between the third installment of Night at the Museum, the remake of Annie and the star-studded release of Into the Woods, our winter break plans are set. If you need to find us, we’ll be at the movies!
3. L’OcciBox

4. Celebrity babies
There are a bunch of A-list babies arriving between now and early next year, but we’re most excited for Kourtney Kardashian’s chubby-cheeked addition! We’re not counting down the days or anything, but when is baby #3 going to arrive already?!
5. More snow days
We’re hearing that this winter is going to be especially bad, and you know what that means… snow days! There’s no other thrill than the one you get when school is cancelled (and snowball fights commence). Our fingers are crossed for a blizzard or two!
6. One Direction’s TV Special
We’re trying to maintain our composure, but inside, we’re totally fangirling. Tragically, NBC hasn’t revealed any details of what the TV special will be about, but we’re assuming there will be lots of Harry Styles and amazing music (obvi), so count us in.
7. Colorful Beanies
A few years ago, it seemed like beanies were such a guy thing, but that’s so not true anymore! They’re such a fun accessory to rock, so we can’t wait to break our new ones in – especially ones in bright, winter weather-defeating colors!
Between all of the awesome movie marathons, cozy fashions and obsession-worthy beauty products this season has in store, we hope this wonderful winter never, ever ends!
