If you’re like us and you’ve been watching LGBTQ+-friendly shows or just TV in general, you’ve probably got at least one hardcore crush on a woman on television. And who can blame you? There are no relationship struggles to be had when you’re crushing on someone on TV! We’ve come up with a list of five crush-worthy TV characters we know you’ll love.

1. Karma Ashcroft

This first crush burst onto the scene with MTV’s Faking It, which took off last spring. Katie Stevens, 21, plays Karma on the show, and she destroys us no matter what look she’s going for. She’ll make you fall in love because not only does she just seems so ridiculously sweet, she can sing (and does it well, too). Karma is simply adorable and all too easy to fall for. She has a big heart and is struggling to figure out what the right thing to do is, just like many of us. She wants to be popular, but she doesn’t always think things through like she should.

2. Frankie Alan

Frankie Alan of Lip Service steals our hearts because of her brokenness. Much too impulsive but all too attractive, Frankie is the type of girl you probably shouldn’t go near but who makes you feel surrounded intense love that you don’t want to walk away from. Her edgy tattoos and hair that appears to be chopped freehandedly a la The L Word’s Shane McCutcheon makes all the queer collegiettes swoon. As the show progresses, you’ll get even more wrapped up in Frankie’s character, and your heart will break (and swell) for her.

3. Fiona Coyne

Fiona Coyne, resident rich girl and queer female character in Degrassi, will make you want to burry yourself in her long locks and inhale her certainly fancy perfume. Fiona is played by Annie Clark, not to be confused with the musician who goes by the stage name St. Vincent (though that Annie Clark is also super adorable), and she remains one of our favorite characters on Degrassi. She definitely makes an entrance, making her debut via limo in season nine. You’ll adore Fiona for her dedication to her passions and her struggles with alcoholism, which shows how raw and real she is.

4. Amy Raudenfeld

Also starring in MTV’s Faking It is Amy Raudenfeld, played by Rita Volk. Amy’s got that cool, chill vibe (hello, beanies) while also being stunningly attractive and rocking a constant model pout. The cynic will woo you with her struggles with sexuality and how relatable she is. Lots of us can relate to the difficulty of finding out that we feel more for a best friend than we would have imagined, and even more relatable for some is Amy’s difficulty dealing with her conservative mother. Sexuality is something that Amy and many of us have had to figure out, and that’s why we love her.

5. Bo Dennis

Bo Dennis, the star of Lost Girl, is a bisexual succubus with a lot of attitude and bravery played by Anna Silk. Though a little on the older side for some collegiettes, Bo proves that loving ladies isn’t limited by age! On the show, she’s super seductive in her all-black outfits and will certainly give you someone new to fangirl over. You’ll fall for her the moment she saves Kenzi, her eventual friend, from being attacked, and you’ll keep on loving her more and more as the show progresses and she shows just how heroic she really is. We can all be a little bit more like Bo, and what’s better than crushing on someone you admire?

Now that you’ve got some more television crushes, feel free to use them as conversation starters to chat with the cute girl from class. We’ve got to admit to being guilty of using The L Word time and time again as a way of making connections with other potentially LGBTQ+ girls.
