Cooking for one comes with its challenges, but also has perks. Learning to navigate the kitchen by yourself and figuring out how to scale a recipe that’s supposed to be for a family of four down to cooking for just yourself can be confusing, but on the other hand, one of my favorite things about cooking for myself is that I get to make exactly what I want, when I want it. If I’m following a recipe but I don’t like some of the ingredients, I can simply take them out because I’m going to be the only one eating it.
