With February right around the corner, it’s time to start planning your Valentine’s Day outfit. If you’re like us, you’re over the cliché heart print and want to try something different this year. Whether you’re going on a date with your S/O, venturing out on a Tinder date, or chilling at home with your girls, your outfit should make you feel all the red heart eye emojis this year.

We’ve curated 5 Valentine’s Day outfits that will give you some major inspo, no matter what your plans entail. On a day for celebrating those you love, it’s only fitting that you show your closet some love too. Here are our fave looks for any V-Day occasion:

1. For a fancy date night

If you’re headed to a fancy dinner this V-Day, add a romantic feel to your look with a red lace dress. The festive color and midi length are a welcome change from your go-to LBD. Trust us: your date will love it.

2. For the G.N.O.

Take a cue from one of our favorite fashion bloggers, Shea Marie, and wear something super fun for your girls’ night out. The blush color of her dress is a subtle nod to the holiday while the feathers add unexpected drama.

3. For a low-key date

If your date plans are a little more relaxed than an upscale dinner, keep it casual with a red corduroy skirt, white blouse, and some tan booties. You’ll still look cute and put-together, but with minimal effort!

4. For the on-campus daytime 'fit

You don’t have to have plans to take part in the fashion fun that comes with Valentine’s Day! Even if you’re just headed to school, catch your crush’s attention with a pink and red sweater and a bold red lip. Lauren Conrad’s look is a subtle nod at the holiday without going totally overboard with V-Day spirit.

5. If Netflix is your one true love (honestly, same)

Even if you don’t have a valentine, you can still celebrate Galentine's Day in this cute pajama set. Grab your favorite snacks and your besties to watch To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before for the tenth time. We won’t judge you.

Single or not, plan a date with your one true love this Valentine’s Day: your closet. We don’t know about you, but we’ll be rocking these looks all year round when we’re in need of some outfit love.
