Attention carb lovers and dessert buffs, there’s a sweet and savory utopia you need to visit ASAP. Dessert empire Milk Bar and DC-based pizzeria &pizza, teamed up to give you the food combination of your dreams. The two restaurants are making their Boston debut in one location in Harvard Square.
The location offers a one-of-a-kind food and beverage experience, where you can enjoy pie slices both savory and sweet. Here, Milk Bar will debut their Boston Cream Pie MilkQuake™—a soft serve remix of the favorite local dessert, that features Cereal Milk Soft Serve blended with liquid cheesecake, vanilla cake bites and fudge sauce. Other items include Milk Bar classics such as Crack Pie, Bagel Bombs, and a seasonally rotating menu. &pizza offers customizable pizzas made to order right in front of you. Layer your pizza with one of their five sauces and an array of toppings and drizzles. This isn’t the first time the like-minded restaurants have come together, either. A few years back, they collaborated to create a Cereal Milk Cream Soda that’s only available at &pizza locations.
Raise your hand if you’re ready to dig in. Milk Bar and &pizza Harvard Square will hosting a grand opening Saturday, Feb. 2 at 11 p.m. As if the food wasn’t enticing enough, special offers and incentives will be happening all day that will make you want to brace the Boston cold. Limited-edition Milk Bar tote bags filled with treats and surprises will be given out to the first 100 customers in line. Even better, Milk Bar's signature Cereal Milk ™ Soft Serve with Cornflake Crunch will only cost $1 and &pizza will be offering $5 pies all day long.
