It's only January, but singer Kelsy Karter may already have everyone beat for craziest tattoo of the year.

The 24-year-old pop star from New Zealand posted photos on Instagram and Twitter showing off her new tattoo of Harry Styles' face — which happens to be on her face.

According to the New York Post, the tattoo appears to be based off of a photo from a promotional shoot for Styles' self-titled 2017 album. Captioned, "mama, look what i made me do," the set of photos also shows Karter posing with tattoo artist Romeo Lacoste.

In attempts to confirm the tattoo's authenticity, many visited Lacoste's Instagram profile to see if he posted anything. There's nothing yet, but Lacoste apparently posted an Instagram Story of him tattooing Kelsy at one point. The photo has since expired or been deleted, though one Instagram user appeared to capture it below.

Still, there's no telling how real the tattoo is. Karter, however, seemed to have thought of the idea over a week ago — just in time for Styles' birthday on February 1. On January 18, she tweeted, "Finally know what I'm getting Harry for his birthday...."

Unless of course Karter wasn't referring to the tattoo, but her new single titled "Harry."

"The song says it all, doesn't it?" Karter told Billboard. "It's just my ode to him, I guess. I think he's amazing and, come on, he's like the best person on the planet."

"Harry/I'm gonna make you love me/You're gonna make me breakfast/It's a secret just between us," Karter sings on the track. "We can keep it low-key/I ain't bein' funny/You should be so lucky/To put your, put your velvet arms around me."

She's been open about her admiration for Styles before. "What I love about him from a professional standpoint is that he was the poppiest of pop stars, and then he went off on his own and made a classic rock album," she told i-D last summer. "For someone like me who wants to live in that world who hasn’t been in a boy band, he has opened the door for me."

Karter continued, "He’s introduced the kids to the kind of music I want to make. For that, I’m really grateful. I also just want his career. I feel like I’m a female version. I actually moved to America to act, and music became my main thing. Rock ‘n’ roll is my passion. I really want to work with him. Let’s work, Harry. Where you at? Mark my words: I’m getting a song on his album."
