Lana Condor, star of the beloved Netflix rom-com To All the Boys I've Loved Before, revealed to Jimmy Fallon on Thursday's Tonight Show that the spark we all witnessed between her and her dreamy co-star was genuine.

Condor and Noah Centineo have been praised for their on-screen chemistry, which has made fans question whether any of their fictional feelings transferred over into real life. According to Condor, the potential for that to happen was there from the beginning. She told Fallon that she and Centineo had to make a no-dating pact right from the start, after an adorable-sounding afternoon spent at a hot-yoga class, followed by pizza.

“I felt something,” Condor said. “I looked at him and I was like, ‘Noah, it’s not gonna happen between us.’”

After the audience finished laughing at her very direct approach, the Deadly Class actress continued, “Because I felt that for the show to do well, we had to be best-friend professionals!”

Centineo apparently agreed with her, stating, “Yeah, it’s not gonna happen.” Thus came the dating pact... allow Lana to explain.

According to Condor, the two film stars still share a "spark," but a romance between them is currently off the table. With the second installment of To all the Boys I've Loved Before confirmed, if the series follows the books, there could be a third movie made as well.

Fallon echoed what most of us seem to be not-so-secretly hoping for, “Then, after the third one, you really fall in love.”

Whether or not the too-cute pair will ever end up being an official couple is up in the air, but we can still dream.
