Good morning, Upper East Siders (or anyone, anywhere reading this)—it looks like we have quite the story for you. It might be years since the show came to an end, but Gossip Girl is still a hit among Netflix users (I mean, I still binge it every year) and a recent discovery on its show description is pretty note-worthy.
On Twitter, Lane Moore, a comedian, noticed a change in Gossip Girl's show description that's so honest and simple, it's hard to tell if it was written by someone who absolutely hates the show, or adores it enough to see it for what it truly is. The description reads as follows: "Rich, unreasonably attractive private school students do horrible, scandalous things to each other. Repeatedly."
Well, they aren't wrong.
Moore tweeted a photo with the caption,"Netflix: 'let’s get someone who fuckin hates Gossip Girl to write the description of Gossip Girl.'" LOL, I mean... she could be right.

If anyone truly doesn't know what the show is about, it's honestly so accurate, people will get the memo. Though this is hilarious on its own, the reactions from Twitter users are just as good.
omg. They also understand the show in such a profound way it's almost poetry.

I wonder if it will stay this way, or if we will see another description pop up sometime down the road. If Gossip Girl taught us anything, it's to keep our eyes peeled, because you never know what will happen. XOXO
