Graveyards are popular sooky destinations for Halloween time, and we’ve found the spookiest of them all. However, this isn’t your typical graveyard. It’s the graveyard of all Ben & Jerry’s “de-pinted” ice cream flavors. Cue the horrified gasps.

On October 9th, the ice cream company announced they would be hosting special spooky Halloween tours of their Flavor Graveyard later this month, honoring all of their “dearly de-pinted” ice cream flavors, Travel & Leisure reports.

Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Graveyard, near the company’s plant and headquarters in Waterbury, Vermont, is where all discontinued flavors go after they have passed on to “the great waffle cone in the sky.” Surrounded by a white picket fence, the Flavor Graveyard is currently home to 40 discontinued flavors — including Wavy Gravy, Rainforest Crunch, Peanuts! Popcorn! and Ethan Almond — that were either removed from shelves to save space or were just major no-no’s against ice cream science.

Each flavor has its very own granite tombstone and features cheeky epitaphs.

“Ben & Jerry’s is known for outrageous, chunky, funky flavors,” Flavor Guru Eric Fredette said in a press release. “But experimentation comes with risk, and not everybody likes our edgier ideas. Like everything else, ice cream flavors have a beginning and an end.”

Now this year, when visitors take a tour of the Ben & Jerry’s factory and the Flavor Graveyard between October 29 and 31, they will be treated to a special treat. Guests will be treated (not tricked) with a special tasting of a limited edition pumpkin pie ice cream available only in Waterbury, Fox News reports.

Sounds absolutely spooktacular! Because what’s better than having some ice cream after walking through a spooky graveyard?

For more information on the Halloween tours of the Flavor Graveyard, visit Ben & Jerry’s website. If you can’t make it to Vermont to pay your respects to flavors of days past, you can take a virtual tour.
