Ivanka Trump says she won’t take Nikki Haley’s place as ambassador to the United Nations, even though her father says she would be “dynamite” at the job.

“It is an honor to serve in the White House alongside so many great colleagues and I know that the President will nominate a formidable replacement for Ambassador Haley,” Ivanka Trump tweeted Tuesday. “That replacement will not be me.”

Haley, the former Republican governor of South Carolina, was confirmed as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations in January 2017. She announced her resignation on Tuesday.

“It has been an honor of a lifetime,” Haley said in the Oval Office, announcing her departure. “Look at what has happened in two years with the United States on foreign policy. Now, the United States is respected. Countries may not like what we do, but they respect what we do.”

Haley will officially resign as ambassador by the end of the year, the president said in the announcement, which shocked many in the White House, including including Chief of Staff John Kelly and Vice President Mike Pence, The Huffington Post reports.

President Trump said later in the day that his eldest daughter “would be incredible” as the ambassador to the UN.

“I want to tell you, the people … know that Ivanka would be dynamite,” Trump said. “But, you know, I’d then be accused of nepotism, if you can believe it.” Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, are currently senior White House advisers to the president.

“I’m not sure there’s anybody more competent,” the president added.

Ivanka Trump had tweeted praise for Haley earlier in the day.

According to TIME, the president is currently considering Goldman Sachs Group Inc.’s Dina Powell as a potential replacement for Haley, as well as “others” for a Haley successor. Another potential candidate is U.S. ambassador to Germany, Ric Grenell, who has already won endorsements from several Trump associates.
