If you’re like me, you’ve already seen some fall trends start to pop up in your Instagram feed. Fall is my favorite time of year, but the season can go rather quickly. This means that you only have a limited time to max out on all the 2018 fall trends before it’s time to wrap up in your heavy winter coats.
Even in these last few weeks of summer, there are plenty of fall trends to start trying out now. Incorporate these top trends in combination with your current summer wardrobe, and when the weather turns, you’ll already be ready to go full-on fall!
Western boots
As a Texas girl, I can’t be more excited for this 2018 fall trend. But thankfully, these aren’t the cowboy boots you’d wear mucking horse stalls. The trendy fall pairs are refreshingly modern. Pair them now with breezy dresses, and then keep them going as the weather cools by adding a pair of tights.
White shoes
Gone is the old age that you can’t wear white after labor day — and good thing, because there are so many stunning white pairs of shoes in stores right now! With the top trends ranging in mules, loafers, heels and boots, white shoes will pair perfectly with your summer denim and liven up your fall sweaters.
Leopard everything
This fall trend is going to be everywhere– literally wearing it head to toe is the way to go. But if you just want to dip your toe into this animal print look, grab a leopard maxi skirt or accent leopard coat. It’ll work just as well with a crop top now, as with a turtleneck when it gets cold.
Fall florals
One of my favorite things to wear in the summer are maxi floral dresses. Luckily, that doesn’t have to end come fall. Start switching out your light florals for the new fall versions in deeper colors and bolder patterns. Just accessorize with sandals and a straw bag now and switch for knee-high boots and a structured bucket bag come fall.
Checks
The check pattern is back again this fall and I’m not mad about it. Something about this print reminds me of back-to-school and professors. Grab a blazer or skirt and pair it with a white frilly blouse now. Once fall hits, you can easily swap the blouse out for a rich mustard or wine colored sweater.
There are tons of fall trends to try this year, so don't be afraid to get a head start on assembling a chic fall ensemble!
