Chloë Grace Moretz and Dylan O'Brien Were Spotted On A Possible Date — 7 Years After He Said He Had A Crush On Her

The latest celebrity couple rumored to be dating could be proof that fate is actually real — or maybe Dylan O'Brien is just psychic. 

According to PEOPLE, the actor and Chloë Grace Moretz were spotted hanging out at Los Angeles restaurant and celebrity hotspot The Nice Guy. Though the two arrived separately, they reportedly left in the same car, along with some of Moretz's friends, to go to a nightclub called The Avenue. 

Have the two confirmed this was a date? No. Have either of their reps issued comments? Also no. But in a world where two young celebrities are a rumored couple one day and confirmed to be engaged the next, people are bound to speculate. 

There's also more to the story of Moretz and O'Brien. In 2011, he confessed to Hollywire that he had a crush on the actress after seeing her in Kick-Ass. "I wanna give a special shout out to Chloë Moretz because she is the most badass little chick that I’ve ever seen," O'Brien said. "What she did in Kick-Ass is amazing and I have a crush on her."

Things got a little awkward after he discovered that at the time, she was 14 — when he was 19. He ended up retracting the statement. "I recently Wikipedia-ed Chloë Moretz and I saw how old she was," he told Hollywire. "So I would like to take it back and retract and say that I think Chloë is a very cute and talented girl. I don’t have a crush on her."

However, now the two are 21 and 26 and any awkwardness is long gone — but their romance is still just a rumor. 

Moretz last dated Brooklyn Beckham. The two broke up after a long on-and-off relationship in April. According to The Blast, O'Bryan hasn't been spotted with his longtime girlfriend since the beginning of the year.
