Ashley Greene, known for playing Alice Cullen (aka the best Cullen) in the Twilight saga, got married on July 6 to Paul Khoury, an Australian voice actor and partner in popular bracelet company Lokai.
Their wedding definitely gave off some Twilight-inspired vibes. According to Us Weekly, the ceremony was held in an outdoor grove in San Jose, California with 120 guests in attendance. Among those guests, PEOPLE reports, were Khoury’s best friend Liam Hemsworth, Greene’s Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, Brittany Snow and more. Now that’s a wedding I would’ve loved to score an invite to.
While Katie May designed her beautiful backless dress for the ceremony, her reception dress was a stunning sheer floral gown designed by Wendi-Williams Stern, according to Brides. I have no doubt that with a dress like that, Greene was the center of attention all night, as she should be.
The two have been engaged since late 2016, when Khoury proposed to Greene on vacation at Bridal Veil Falls in New Zealand—and if you’re going to propose anywhere, that’s probably the most appropriately-named place to do it. And the two aren’t afraid to share their love for each other; both Khoury and Greene posted an adorable video of the engagement on Instagram with swoonworthy captions like Greene’s “I can’t wait to show you my unfaltering immeasurable love for the rest of our lives.”
Despite this, though, Greene told PEOPLE that she wasn’t in a hurry to tie the knot. “We’re at the age where a lot of our friends are getting married and many of them are stressed out,” she said. “That’s just not how I want to enter into our union. We’re enjoying the honeymoon engagement stage.”
IMO, Greene was all the better for that mindset, because their wedding looked absolutely fabulous.
