We’re not even a week into June (a.k.a. the official start of the period in which you’re basically legally obligated to swap your go-to wine for rosé) and Taco Bell has already won rosé season. Why? Because you can now enjoy your chalupas with a glass (erm, plastic cup?) of frosé, and this is 100 percent not fake news.
On Wednesday, Taco Bell announced plans to test a new Freeze called the Berry Frosé Twisted Freeze, and yes, it’s every bit as amazing as it sounds. Made with Charles & Charles’ 2017 Rosé, Taco Bell describes the drink as, “blending with the perfect combination of berry flavors for a tasty, strawberry-forward, easy-to-sip summer treat.” (Basically, you’ll probably never order a Baja Blast or Skittles Slushie again.)
Yes way, Frosé. Berry Frosé Twisted Freeze is now testing at our Downtown Chicago and Newport Beach Cantina locations. pic.twitter.com/bpBT61HUFK

Because Taco Bell is all about giving the people what they want, their version of frosé also won’t set your bank account back double digits just for a single glass. For now, the company is testing the drink at its Newport Beach and Chicago Taco Bell Cantina locations, where it will cost $7.99 and $5.49 respectively. And if you’re (unfortunately) not located anywhere near either of these locations, I’m just saying, it just might be worth a trip.
Of course, considering the fact that we’ll all be consuming rosé like it’s water over the next few months, we have no doubt in our minds that it will be enough of a success to be rolled out across Taco Bell locations nationwide — fingers crossed, anyway.
