Ariana Grande & Mac Miller Have Officially Split — But They Still Have Nothing but the *Sweetest* Things to Say About Each Other

After almost two years together, Ariana Grande and Mac Miller have announced that they're calling it quits — and while I'd normally be heartbroken, if there was ever a couple that was #breakupgoals, it would be these two.

Allow me to explain: as TMZ reports, the couple has decided to go their separate ways, citing busy work schedules (I mean, fair enough) as the reason for their split. However, the rapper and "No More Tears to Cry" singer reportedly plan to stay super close, even though they're ending their romantic involvement, according to sources who spoke to TMZ

Ariana seemed to confirm this on Thursday with the *sweetest* Instagram story dedicated to her ex — who she clearly still has nothing but love and respect for.

"This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet," Grande captioned a photo of them. "I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!"

She continued, "Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know and support you forever and i’m so proud of you!"

Grande and Miller have been through a lot together — Mac supported Ariana through the aftermath of the horrific bombing at her Manchester, U.K. tour stop in 2017, and was even there to be with her before she took the stage for her first major performance at Coachella since the bombing.

Is it totally weird that I'm jealous of someone else's breakup? Truly, if we could all treat our exes this respectfully, the world would be a better place.
