Since the Stormy Daniels story broke in January 2018, First Lady Melania Trump has kept a low profile. Rumors have since swirled that Melania and President Trump don't get along that well and that she spends most of her time away from him on purpose, as the Washington Post, reported.
In an article released on Sunday night, Melania’s team states that the rumors give them all a good laugh. These stories are “1,000 percent false,” said Stephanie Grisham, director of communications for the first lady. “We laugh at it all the time,” she said.

Of the many rumors circulating about the relationship status of POTUS and FLOTUS, one of the most popular is that Melania doesn’t even live at the white house. According to Bustle, there were many that believed Melania and Barron had moved in with the first lady’s parents in a suburb outside DC. White House staff has refuted this rumor as an urban legend, stating that Melania is seen by most staff members on a regular basis.
Melania “is focused on being a mom. She’s focused on being a wife, and she’s focused on her role as first lady. And that’s it. The rest is just noise,” Grisham said.
Despite living in the East Wing however, Melania and her husband still reportedly rarely interact. Some White House insiders have revealed that the two sleep in separate bedrooms and barely make time to share a meal together.
Longtime friends of the Trumps speculate that the rift between the two has grown wider in recent months, despite insistence otherwise by White House staff. Whether these rumors hold any weight? Only Melania Trump, who has declined to publicaly comment on the rumors herself, can say for sure.
