The Dallas Police Department is currently searching for a man who shot two officers, as well as a loss prevention officer, at a Home Depot, ABC News reports.

Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall told reporters during a press conference that the police department is searching for 29-year-old Armando Luis Juárez in connection with the shooting, CNN reports. The suspect fled the scene in a white Ford pickup truck.

Hall said that Juárez is considered dangerous, and the police department is unaware of “how he was able to get a gun and shoot all three of the victims.”

According to the police chief, 911 dispatchers received a call to go to Home Depot around 4:12 p.m. local time. She added that once the responding officers arrived, another called was made for further assistance.

Two police officers were critically wounded during the shooting, according to a Twitter post by the police department. The officers were transported by the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department to the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, where, according to Hall, they are receiving the “best care possible.”

Hall, according to CNN, asked the community for their thoughts and prayers for the injured officers.

“I want to ask each and every one of you for your prayers...for our officers, for their families and for our entire DPD family, because we need you right now,” Hall said. “Our hearts are very heavy.”

A civilian who was a loss prevention officer at Home Depot was also injured during the shooting, but his or her condition is unknown at this time.

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings tweeted after the shooting: “We are closely monitoring the situation in northeast Dallas and praying for our officers and their families.”
