After six years, WWE favorites, Nikki Bella and John Cena, have decided to end their engagement. Fans following them since their relationship started back in 2012 are devastated to see them split up.
“While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another," the couple said in a statement to E! News. "We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”
On Monday, Cena also shared an emotional message with his fans on social media. "Hardship, loss, and humility are extremely difficult waters to navigate, but perseverance thru them builds a strength to withstand anything life throws your way," he tweeted.

We’ve been able to watch the couple's relationship unfold on Total Divas and Total Bellas. And who could forget Cena’s iconic proposal last April in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 33?
Even though their split may be heartbreaking for longtime fans, thankfully we’ll be able to continue watching them on season three of Total Bellas premiering this May.
Here's hoping this isn’t a definite end for Cena and Bella.
