The world has been in a tizzy since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement late last year. We've collectively worried ourselves over which celebrities will make the guest list and her wedding party, the designer of her dress and if the spice girls really will be performing the reception.
Royal wedding fever has even managed to infect those over at Lifetime! The popular network immediately got to work on the Prince Harry & Meghan Markle love story adaptation and now, we have a teaser trailer for the TV movie! The trailer is 45 seconds long, but it's all of the cheesiness you want and expect from a Lifetime movie.
The Cut points out an especially cheesy line where the Prince Harry character says, "I don't need my life to be this perfect royal picture...I just need you."

For a TV movie, they managed to get two actors who look quite similar to their real life counterparts. Murray Fraser plays Prince Harry while Parisa Fitz-Henley portrays Meghan Markle. The film will span everything from Harry's single life as the party boy to their first date and then his proposal at the cottage they share at Kensington Palace.
Prince Harry & Meghan Markle: A Royal Romance premieres on Lifetime May 6th, just two weeks before the royal wedding on May 19th.
