Someone in the universe has decided that the Harry Potter universe should live on forever, and I for one am here for that. Arguably the most underrated characters in the Harry Potter are the Hufflepuffs, including everyone's favorite heartthrob Cedric Diggory. Cedric deserved better —and the off-Broadway hit Puffs thinks so too.
In case you don't know, Puffs is an off-Broadway play that has established a cult following over the past few years, and now it is coming to movie theaters so Hufflepuff fans around the US can enjoy! Puffs: Filmed Live Off Broadway will be screening all over country at over 600 theaters, but there's a catch: It's only showing twice. Starting April 6th you can buy tickets to catch the show on May 9th at 7pm or May 12th at 12:55pm.
According to Time Out New York, Puffs takes a look at "what was happening behind the scenes at the school of witchcraft while Potter ran the show? This play tells you which was going on with the loyal and patient students, including the greatest Puff of all, Cedric Diggory." Glad we're on the same page about who "the greatest Puff of all" is.
Screening the show in movie theaters is a great opportunity for Harry Potter fans outside of the New York City area to show their love for the Puffs. Hufflepuffs are known to value patience, fairness, hard work, and just being an overall kind person, something we all need a little more of these days.
No word yet if Robert Pattinson, who played Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films, is aware of the Puffs film debut, but I'm sure he'll love it as much as we will. Be sure to catch Puffs at a local theater near you!
