If you're looking to share an impactful gift this year, we hope that you'll consider donating to a non-profit organization in a friend or loved one's name. Below are just a few organizations that support women and girls across the globe in everything from education to reproductive rights, so these are a great place to start if you're looking for a memorable gift that makes a difference. Where will you give this year?

ACLU: The American Civil Liberties Union works to protect rights and liberties of people across the country. They're particularly about protecting free speech and teh right to protest, reproductive freedoms, fighting anti-LGBT discrimination and defending the rights of refugees and immigrants.

Center for Reproductive Rights: The CRR envisions a world where every woman is completely in control of her reproductive choices, and they work tirelessly with legal innovators to make the dream of reproductive freedom a reality.

Girls Not Brides: Girls Not Brides is a global partnership made of more than 800 civil society organizations who committed to ending child marriage and enabling girls to fulfill their potential by providing a safer future.

Girls Who Code: This U.S. nonprofit has a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology. They're currently building the largest pipeline of female engineers, and are set to reach 40,000 girls in all 50 states by the end of this year.

International Women's Health Coalition: IWHC helps advance the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East by supporting leaders and organizations working at the community, national, regional and global levels.

Malala Fund: The Malala Fund works in regions where most girls miss out on secondary education to provide 12 years of free, safe and quality learning.

Planned Parenthood: PP delivers reproductive health care and sex education to millions of people worldwide — and they're currently fighting hard to protect access to birth control.

She Should Run: She Should Run is a non-partisan 501(c)3 that provides an approachable starting place and network for women leaders considering a future run for office. Their current goal is to get 250,000 women running for elected office by 2030.

She's the First: STF provides scholarships to girls in low-income countries who will be the first in their families to graduate high school. They work with the goal to reduce gender inequality and cultivate the next generation of global leaders.
